πŸ•οΈ FeelFamous Basecamp • Season 2027

A kind space, on the road

A welcoming, AuDHD-aware space that travels to festivals and events β€” available through community swaps or paid bookings for 2027. Storytelling, close-up ventriloquism, occasional liquid drum and bass, a Story Chair, and somewhere to just breathe.

Proven at Wild Gardens Festival, Port Eliot, July 2026 β€” see below. Booking festivals, fairs and gatherings for 2027 now.

Not a stage. Not a stall. A place to land.

Festivals are brilliant and completely overwhelming, sometimes in the same ten minutes. Basecamp is the bit in between β€” a shaded, unhurried space for anyone who needs five minutes of quiet, a good story, or just somewhere that doesn't demand anything of them.

See the real Wild Gardens 2026 pitch β€” van, marquee, Chill Zone, in-situ photos. Or read the full write-up, warts and all.

"I'm offering a completely free, self-contained chill-out space. You give me a spot. I bring everything else. It's a shaded sanctuary with liquid drum and bass playing quietly in the background. Kids get magic, puppets, whatever the moment calls for. Adults get somewhere to actually breathe. It's an AuDHD-aware space, positive vibes only, no pressure on anyone who walks in."

The exact pitch that got us into Wild Gardens Festival 2026. Still the whole idea.

What that actually means day to day: come as you are. No pressure to be cheerful, no pressure to be anything in particular. If quiet is what you need, that's what you get.

The Chill Zone
A marquee and awning, shade, quiet seating, and liquid DnB low enough to talk over. No one's made to perform, including us.
The Story Chair
Photo albums, books, a puppet, an open seat. Pick a picture, hear the real story behind it β€” especially popular with kids.
Ventriloquism workshops
Up close, not a stage trick β€” it's communication. All anyone needs to bring is a sock with two eyes drawn on. For adults, kids, neurospicy folks, anyone curious.
Occasional sets, not a soundtrack
DJ Lynfinity plays liquid DnB low-volume in the background now and then β€” not all day, not a dancefloor. Music-free stretches too, by agreement.
A free WiFi hotspot
Phone-based, battery-powered, no signup. Takes a little bit of the FeelFamous ecosystem away with you.

"Learn to talk to a sock puppet like it's a real being, and the more you practise, the more your guard drops. Before you know it, you're not doing a trick anymore β€” you're actually talking to your own inner voice, your other self, call it what you like. And because you're 'just practising ventriloquism,' nobody thinks it's odd. It's a genuinely good excuse to lose the guilt about talking to yourself β€” a proper, cathartic conversation, in a fun way."

Chris's own reasoning for why the workshop matters, not just a party trick.

What this isn't: we're not therapists, we don't run crisis care, and we're not a substitute for your event's own welfare or medical team. This is good company, a quiet corner, and someone who gets it β€” not a clinical service. If anyone needs real help, we'll point them straight to your welfare tent.

The crew

A family and friends operation, not an agency booking a stranger. This is who you'd actually meet.

Chris P Tee β€” Doc Strange
Storyteller & ventriloquist, Equity member
Runs the Story Chair and the up-close ventriloquism β€” not showing off, it's conversation. Lived experience, not a training course. Equity member, public liability insurance in place.
DJ Lynfinity
On the decks, occasionally
Liquid drum and bass, low-volume, in the odd set here and there β€” never promised as a constant soundtrack.
Victoria
Chris's sister
Part of the crew, part of the family β€” an extra pair of hands and an extra friendly face.
Adey (Adrian)
Chris's brother
Part of the crew, part of the family β€” same deal as above.
Ian β€” The Holy Mole
Maybe
Strange Mole podcast co-host, Chris's oldest sparring partner for a conversation. Not confirmed yet β€” but if the stars align, he might be there too.

Honest and off-grid capable

We proved this at Wild Gardens 2026 with zero mains power. If you've got power, great β€” but we don't need it to say yes.

A pitch
Ideally 10m×10m, workable down to 7m×7m. Anywhere people naturally pass through is ideal.
Power, if you've got it
Not essential β€” we run off van battery and solar if there's no mains, exactly as we did at Port Eliot.
Food for the crew
A crew-catering arrangement, same as any other act or supplier on your site.
The pitch itself, to camp on
We camp in situ β€” the van stays right where it's pitched, the whole time. We don't set up, leave, and come back. We're there.

Whatever actually suits you

Grassroots free festival or a fully-budgeted event with a line for entertainment β€” both are genuinely fine. Pick whichever shape fits.

Option 1 β€” The Swap

We trade, nobody invoices

You give us what you've genuinely got β€” a pitch, power if there is any, food. We camp right there on the same pitch, in situ, the whole time we're with you. We bring the full Basecamp: Chill Zone, Story Chair, ventriloquism workshops, DJ set, the lot. Treat us like VIPs, we treat your audience like VIPs. No fee.

Option 2 β€” A Proper Booking

Invoiced, like any other supplier

If you've got a real entertainment or wellbeing budget, book us properly. Invoiced professionally, like any other supplier on your list β€” not a favour, not a discount.

No set price list yet β€” tell us about your event below and we'll talk real numbers based on what you actually need.

Book us, or just say hello

One form, two reasons to use it: get Basecamp booked in for 2027, or sign the guestbook if you've already met us (or want to).

People who've met us, or want to

Every signature is read by hand before it goes up here β€” same as everything else on FeelFamous, nothing's shown without a real person checking it first. Sign above using the guestbook tab.

Nobody's signed yet β€” be the first. Every genuine signature gets a read and a reply.
